RINGU TULKU RINPOCHE
The group is under the guidance of Tibetan lama Ringu Tulku Rinpoche, who lives in Sikkim and visits the UK each summer. Ringu Tulku’s extensive traditional training has included studying with lamas of all the Tibetan traditions and his main teachers have been HH 16th Karmapa and Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. Ringu Tulku Rinpoche is also a teacher of His Holiness 17th Karmapa and principal translator for him at the annual Kagyu Monlam festival of Tibetan Buddhist teachings.
He has travelled to more than 50 Universities, Institutes and Buddhist Centres in Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and Asia to teach Buddhism and meditation. He also participates in various interfaith dialogues.
Rinpoche speaks good English and has a good sense of humour. His relaxed yet profound teaching style makes his teachings very accessible whether you are a beginner or a more experienced practitioner. Ringu Tulku supports the all-embracing Tibetan
Ri-Me movement and encourages a broader understanding of Buddhism through teachings from various spiritual traditions. He has writen a book about this philoshophy.
